In SeaMonkey, go to 'Edit ->Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Certificates ->Manage Certificates..'. - Go to the tab named 'YourCertificates'.

- From the Notes client, click on File - Security - User Security and enter your Notes password
- Expand Your Identity - Your Certificates
- Select 'Your Internet Certificates' from the drop down list
- Click on Get Certificates.. and choose Import Internet Certificates..
- Browse to and select the saved certificate from step 1
- Enter your password and click on the OK's.you should see something like this below when the certificate is imported successfully.

S/MIME Support Package for BlackBerry devices installation
Device Requirment: Java® based BlackBerry devices that run BlackBerry® Device Software Version 4.5 or later

A) Install the certificate synchronization tool on your computer

- Click Certificate Synchronization.
- Select This feature, and all subfeatures, will be installed on local hard drive.
B) Install the S/MIME Support Package for BlackBerry devices on your computer
Download the installer for the S/MIME support package from:

- Click Next.
- Click Finish.

- Click Import Certificate.
- Click the certificate file (.p12 file) saved in part 1.
- Click Open.

Youcan always turn on/off encryption and/or digital signature later whenyou're actually composing a message.
